Stephen Bunting

Stephen Bunting is an experienced Physiotherapist and MSK Sonographer with specialist expertise in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound, and is a CASE-accredited Sonographer, Injection Therapist and Independent Prescriber.

A significant part of Stephen’s work is dedicated to MSK clinical and sonography education. His teaching is grounded in extensive clinical experience, with a strong focus on helping clinicians understand how ultrasound can support assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.

Through PhysioMSK, Stephen also produces evidence-based educational content designed to make musculoskeletal conditions, imaging and treatment options easier to understand. His combination of clinical sonography, interventional practice and education gives him a practical, evidence-informed approach to MSK ultrasound teaching.
