If you need to cancel your SMUG course booking, the refund available depends on when we receive your cancellation email. We commit to course costs in advance, including booking and paying for venues and laboratory facilities where applicable, and securing tutors. These costs may still be payable if a delegate cancels, so cancellation charges help cover these commitments. The refund available depends on when we receive your cancellation email. Notice is measured in calendar days before the course start date, calculated from the date we receive your email.

How to cancel
Please email info@ultrasoundtraining.co.uk with your full name, course title and the course date. Please use the same email address for any questions about cancelling your booking.
Refunds can take up to one week to process.
Transferring your booking
If you are unable to attend, we will do our best to transfer your booking to the next course. Our courses are often fully booked, so transfers are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options. If a transfer is not possible and you cancel your booking, the refund terms above apply.
Replacement delegates
You may send a replacement delegate in your place, provided they meet the course entry requirements. Please email us before the course with their full name and contact details so we can update the booking.
Non-attendance
If you do not attend the course without cancelling in advance, the full course fee remains payable and no refund or transfers will be given.
Cancellation or postponement by SMUG
If SMUG cancels or postpones your course, you may choose a full refund of the course fee or a transfer to another available course date. No administration charge will apply to a refund in these circumstances.
