David Luka

David Luka is an experienced Physiotherapist and MSK Sonographer with more than 25 years’ clinical experience and specialist expertise in diagnostic MSK ultrasound, ultrasound-guided interventions and advanced musculoskeletal practice. He is Clinical Director and co-founder of Complete Physio and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Sonography.

A significant part of David’s work focuses on ultrasound-guided injection therapy, combining diagnostic imaging, independent prescribing and image-guided intervention within the patient pathway. He also works in NHS orthopaedic triage, assessing complex musculoskeletal presentations.

Alongside his clinical work, David has extensive postgraduate teaching and lecturing experience, including roles at City University and visiting lecturer positions at Hertfordshire and Coventry. His teaching brings together sonography, prescribing and clinical reasoning to help clinicians apply ultrasound safely and effectively in practice.
