Dr Sandeep Khosla

Dr Sandeep Khosla is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports medicine, with over 30 years in the NHS. He holds a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine and a postgraduate qualification in MSK ultrasound, and has extensive experience using diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound guidance within musculoskeletal practice.

A significant part of Sandeep’s work focuses on ultrasound-guided joint injections and complex MSK assessment. He has been performing joint injections for more than 20 years and works within an NHS musculoskeletal service in Derby, as well as in private practice.

Teaching is also an important part of his role. Sandeep has trained new GPs, teaches and assesses pitch-side trauma for the Football Association, and mentors clinicians developing skills in MSK ultrasound scanning and ultrasound-guided injections. His combination of clinical sonography, sports medicine and education gives him a strongly practical approach to teaching.
