Physiotherapist, MSK Sonographer
Robert Laus is a highly experienced Physiotherapist and MSK Sonographer specialising in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, sports medicine and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He has been using diagnostic ultrasound in clinical practice since 1996, giving him almost three decades of experience in the field.
A major part of Robert’s career has been dedicated to MSK ultrasound education. As SMUG Faculty Lead, he lectures nationally and internationally, delivering advanced ultrasound training to physiotherapists, Sports & Exercise Medicine physicians and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons.
His teaching focuses on sonoanatomy, image acquisition, interpretation and clinical reasoning, drawing on extensive hands-on experience in sports injuries, complex MSK presentations and post-surgical rehabilitation.
